Canon EOS Photo5 last chance competition
Written by Matthew JC Powell Thu Sep 17 2009, 04:04pm
Canon's EOS Photo5 competition offers entrants the opportunity to vie for fantastic prizes such as an EOS 5D Mk II Premium package worth thousands of dollars. As well as the prizes there's the prestige and, let's be honest, the fun of taking part.
Entrants to Photo5 receive a cardboard box containing five items, each of them indicating a brief for a photo that must form part of the entry. A limited number of these boxes is produced, and at this point all of them are gone.
Well, almost all.
MacTheMag has ten of the boxes to give away, and not much time in which to do it. So we're going to have a guerilla competition.
No, not monkeys. Think commandos.
Here's what we want you to do. Now that MacTheMagazine has launched, along with most of the rest of MacTheMag, we want to get it out in front of people so they can give it a go and see if they like it. That's where you come in.
Get our name, our logo, our sites, our identity in one way or another out in front of people. The more audacious the better. When you've committed your act of guerilla marketing, take a photo and post it on MacTheForum. The ten best will win an entry into Canon's Photo5 competition.
To help you along we've packaged up some high-resolution copies of the various logos for you to download. You have until Friday the 25th of September to post your photos to MacTheForum, and we'll announce the winners on Monday the 28th.
Best of luck to you all!
